The platform was shaped through a 6-month immersion phase, involving in-depth interviews with teachers, school staff, and administrators. This user-centered research was crucial to understanding the real pain points and opportunities for impact within the school environment.

Feature 2: School Communication

One of the most impactful features of the platform was the communication tool, managed through an integrated CRM system. It enabled teachers to:
- Send announcements and updates to parents and students
- Target specific recipients with filtered messaging
- Share content in a news feed format
- Track communication performance through analytics and post reach reports

To help teachers better anticipate how messages would appear to parents, a preview mode was introduced. It shows exactly how posts will look on mobile devices, ensuring clarity, friendly tone, and proper formatting — giving teachers confidence in their communication.

This feature significantly improved parent engagement and reduced the time teachers spent on repetitive communication tasks.

Feature 4: Class Journal

This is where teachers can document the story of their classes. Within the Class Journal, they can reflect on each class, record student-specific notes such as health alerts, grades, and behavioral observations, and register class occurrences and important events.

Teachers reported feeling more organized and supported in tracking both academic and personal aspects of student life. It also served as a valuable record for meetings with parents or school leadership.
